Like all emerging industries the number of renewable energy products is constantly growing as more and more companies develop their own particular technology and style.  The microgeneration (small scale renewables) sector is 'licensed' by the microgeneration certification scheme (MCS) such that any funding and incentives are only accessible when the renewables equipment installed is approved by MCS and the installer is accredited by MCS. Always ask, always check.
